Arrival and Settling In
Touching down in Cadets, a charming town in southern Spain, felt instantly relaxing. Our Airbnb offered a stunning view, the perfect welcome after our journey. We spent a quiet hour unwinding before venturing out for dinner, savoring the initial calmness of our new surroundings.
The next morning began with a delightful breakfast at a nearby café. The cozy atmosphere and delicious food set a perfect tone for the day's adventures. Later, we discovered a local tapas place, a vibrant spot buzzing with activity. It was the perfect end to our first day, a delicious introduction to the local culinary scene.
Breakfast at a Charming Local Cafe
The next morning, we ventured out to a nearby café, a truly delightful find. It was small, cozy, and utterly charming, the kind of place you’d happily stumble upon and become a regular at. The air hummed with a quiet energy – the gentle clinking of cups, the low murmur of conversation, the rhythmic hiss of the espresso machine. It felt instantly welcoming.
I ordered eggs Benedict, the yolks a gloriously jiggly orange, and my travel companion opted for toast with bacon and scrambled eggs. Everything was fresh and delicious, a perfect start to the day. We were the first customers, which only added to the peaceful, intimate atmosphere. The quiet hum of the café, the gentle bustle of the staff preparing food – it was all delightfully calming.
