Journey to Ronda: Arrival and Accommodation
Train Journey from Granada to Ronda
Our journey from Granada to Ronda began with an early morning train. It was a scenic, if somewhat lengthy, trip. I remember the anticipation building as we watched the Andalusian countryside unfold outside the window.
There was a rather lengthy transfer involved – about an hour and a half – which gave us a chance to grab a coffee and people-watch at a rather unremarkable train station somewhere in the Spanish hinterland. It felt very much like being in the middle of nowhere, a stark contrast to the vibrant cities we'd visited before. But it added to the adventure, I suppose.
Exploring Our Ronda Apartment
Stepping into our Ronda apartment felt like a mini-victory after that rather lengthy train journey. It wasn't just a room; it was a whole apartment! A small but perfectly formed space, it immediately felt cozy and welcoming. We had a charming little living room, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
Upstairs, a compact kitchen awaited – ideal for preparing simple meals. And the best part? A balcony boasting a truly breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Seriously, the view alone was worth the price of the stay. I spent a good chunk of time just gazing at it, sipping wine and feeling incredibly grateful for our adventure.
The bathroom was modern and clean, and the shower – oh, that shower! After hours on a train, it was pure bliss. Honestly, after the slightly chaotic train transfers, the apartment was a haven of calm and comfort. The whole place was meticulously clean and had everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring this enchanting town.
